Broken hinge

Had my Lenovo laptop for 3 months and a hinge broke and cracked the screen. I don't think opening and closing the laptop for that amount of time should do break a hinge. It sits on my counter. I open it, work on it and then close it. $168.00 to repair. No more Lenovo for me.

Need a manual for the laptop I purchased

I am not happy that when I purchased the lap top no manual came with the computer. They have sent me a link to download the manual which is a pain in the *** and this policy is simply a way to increase their profit margins by not printing and including a manual. Very poor business practice.

The Lenovo tech was no help trying to sell something instead of helping me resolve my issue he was playing like he had NO ideal as to what caused my issue, it's sad everything is about money.

I purchased a Lenovo ThinkCenter A10 524 IMB05 SN: MJ0D98RN) .Within 10 days the machine began to cut off. I called.

The second person I spoke with told me to call and "tell them to send you a new machine. After 3 days my order was closed without resolution. I discovered the mouse was defective. I called tech support.

It was to be replaced and mailed. I never received the replacement mouse. A few days later I forgot my PIN. I called tech support, the only way to rset the PIN was to sweep the hard drive.

With the assistance of the technician the hard drive was swept. (Ticket #200-164-****.) March 11, there was a system fan failure (Case #3 20******** and work order 400096-****). The technician was to come the next day 3/12/2021. Technical did not call and did not come.

on Friday 3/12/2021 I received an email from Lenovo (CRM0050312) with this info: BIOS and a link. I called tech support because there were no instructions. I was told the link was to update the BIOS. I clicked on the link and the screen went to black and only the power light was flashing.

I called on 3/15/2021 and learned the system fan part had not been ordered. The technician attempted to trouble shoot twice without success. The tech advised that the motherboard was out. Service Order 400097**** work order 0315****.

Shortly thereafter I received email advising that the part was unavailable at the earliest until "mid-April." I called tech support to report I had already been unable to work since 3/11/21 and needed a replacement because I could not wait until mid-April, at the earliest, to begin working again because I am self-employed. This tech sold me he would get with sales for a replacement. I asked for his name and order number. Refused to provide either advising that I would get a call in 24 to 48 hours.

On 3/18/2021 not having received the call regarding the replacement machine, I called tech support. I was advised that due to the policy of a tech having to make two site visits there was nothing he could do. He did tell me that the fan, the motherboard, and a processor had been ordered. I explained that as of 3/18/2021 I had not worked in 5 business days basically he could not tell me even if or when I would be able to have the machine repaired.

While I have no knowledge of the inner workings of a computer, I do know that if the fan, motherboard, and processor need replacing in less than 60 days after the computer had been set up the computer is definitely defective and needs replacement. (The computer was paid for, in cash, before it left the factory.) What kind of company does not care how long the customer is out of work before an obviously defective machine. I am self employed and cannot afford to not work for a minimum of 25 business days. My request is not unreasonable.

The machine needs to be immediately replaced so that I may return to work.Regarding customer service: I was bounced from department to department; hung up on at least three times. Once I told one of the techs my plight, the female tech just hung up. Another time a tech hung up on me once I shared what was wrong with the machine. The next tech took my info said he would help me and never returned to the telephone.

I had to harangueAl with the tech who was to order the fan to get a case number and then a work order. It seems as though the company just takes your money and if there is a problem, especially one as mine, and says so sad, to bad.
I just need my computer replaced. As a customer, I should not be left hanging for when or if my computer will be repaired so that I may return to work.

I work for myself. My request is not unreasonable.

Preferred solution: Either a full refund or immediate repllacement of machine within 3 days or full refund. Customer service revampting for accountability.

User's recommendation: I cannot recommend purchase of LENOVO. Customer service is the worst I have experienced in my 35 years of computer purchases and use.

Dark depressing photos

I hate having to endure all of the sign on pictures of trees, mountains, rivers, streams , rock formations etc. They are so dark and depressing. If Lenovo has to have sign on pictures why not have uplifting photos that are not so repetitive and lighter in color. If I do say I like one then they remove it. The world and it's problems are depressive enough with out having to endure all of these these dark photos.DARKd

Online Ordering Inaccessible for Deaf

Sir, Purchased Lenovo Legion 5i Laptop on 28-10-2020 with order No:171-736****-421**** with Serial No: PF1B2ME5 and Purchased Lenovo Desktop V530s on 13-11-2020 with order No: 405-964****-139**** with Serial No: PG01QCP7. Both Laptop and Desktop are faulty due to Quality issue.Request for Laptop fault booked on 05-01-2021 and Desktop on 20-01-2021.Due to lack of dedication in fault rectification and Product quality issue, both my Laptop &;;;;;Desktop are faulty.

Fault rectification is pending since 05-01-2021, hence requesting for replacement of both Laptop& Desktop with same configuration new Laptop& Desktop. Reason for pending is here by requested to expedite.Submitted request for fault rectification several number of times from email:skgousebasha1@***.com to customercare@***.com, pop@***.com,consumerts@***.com etc, several number times by my mobile : 949018**** to Lenovo premiere customer care and submitted written request to Lenovo India Private Limited Bangalore several number of times.

I have spared nearly 300 Hours of my time for fault rectification of both Laptop& Desktop, all the efforts are in vain. Serial No: PF1B2ME5 & PG01QCP7 are faulty as on 11-02-2021.

I was sold a "new" Lenovo laptop that had to get the keyboard and hard drive replaced, has a camera that won't work plus I had to buy a mouse because the keypad does not work properly and this is all within its first year. Please beware of this brand because it is difficult to get resolution for these problems from the manufacturer.

Defective Laptop: Lenovo X390 Yoga laptop with serial number R90W9KCG

Dear Sir,

This is regarding my Lenovo X390 Yoga laptop with serial number R90W9KCG with warranty expiring on 13th January 2023.

Request you to kindly check the history of issues being faced by the captioned laptop.

Such expensive laptop was purchased with the ideology and thought process that it will be defect free and will not have problems to the user. But, seeing service history, you will recognize that the laptop seems to be a defective product and many parts (including motherboard-2 times, camera, screen, HSD, keyboard, etc.) got replaced numerous times.

This was never expected for such a expensive laptop from such reputed brands like Lenovo.

Still the laptop is not in usable condition.

It seems that we have done a big mistake purchasing this lap-top, this was never expected from such a big brand (specially with such a expensive lap-top).

It have led to huge loss of work and impacted a lot to the assignments being carried out by the user. The lap-top have emerged as a trash with huge mental harassment consuming precious time of many officials.

Request you to kindly check the details and suggest a feasible solution, may be refunding the full amount with escalation of money from the date of purchase as per WPI-India.

Lenovo's help desk, hotline, escalation, etc. are the WORST i have ever encountered. Absolutely the worst. I have been on a merry-go-round with these people, wasting endless hours and days trying to help for a faulty laptop - an expensive one - i bought recently. No one keeps notes on cases opened so that different agents can see them - if any of these people takes notes - no way to keep a paper trailver buyne

Speaker M0520 issue

Just received the M00520 speakers consisting of one main speaker and one passive satellite speaker. Did NOT receive a Audio signal input cable as illustrated on pg.5 of the user manual nor is there any sound coming from the satellite speaker.Is this what is meant by "passive".Main speaker sounds great!
